The successful candidates will have experience installing and implementing Microsoft solutions including Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Active Directory as well as a strong working knowledge of the IP family of protocols. The successful candidates will also have the ability to work independently under a tight schedule with defined deliverables and objectives.
Innovation Networks is seeking to hire System Engineers with the following experience:

Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification - Three years college degree or vocational school
- Three or more years of on the job experience in an Information Technology capacity
- Strong understanding of networks; local, wide area, VPN, wireless
- Experience managing Microsoft Windows Server and Server family of products (Exchange, SQL, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Productivity software (Office suites, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong support experience in small to medium companies ( Greater than 20 employees)
- Knowledge of security practices, Unix, Mac, Apache, development languages and VoIP are a plus
Successful candidates will possess the following professional skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to be successful
- Excellent time management skills
- Self starter, motivated to perform at their heist levels at all times
- Team player, must be able to work with the team
- Ability to follow process and procedures
Technical certifications and training:
- Platform Network Operating System Software certification (MCSE preferred)
- Extensive experience on the Windows platform (Server and Professional)
- Network Operation System configuration experience
- Server Hardware expertise
The following are essential duties of the position:
- Server, network infrastructure, and end user device implementation
- Server administration duties (account management, patch installation, etc.)
- Escalation point for support center or network operations center tickets that are either critical in nature or have high visibility within the customer
- Work with other systems engineers and the Technical Services management team to document and develop technical processes
- On-site dispatch for resolution of tickets that cannot be resolved remotely from the Innovation Networks Network Operations Centre
- After-hours availability is required on a rotating basis
- Server hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Some local and regional travel is required
- Requires a valid driver's license and a vehicle in good working order
- Position requires continuous self study to keep up with the constantly changing technology
- Recurring report requirements may include but are not limited to Time Reporting, Status Reports, Task Completion Documentation
